Change is inevitable

Yea you hear it all the time, but experiencing it is something different. Most of the time the “change” seems to be a bad thing, but for me this “change” seems to be a good thing. I don’t necessarily see change as something that will affect my life in a huge way; rather I see it as an opportunity to see where it takes me. It’s been 4 years of me saying “let’s see where it takes me” and so far its been doing me quite well.

Lately though I’ve been stuck in this rut that’s got me thinking about change and how it’s “inevitable.” In layman’s terms, it’s basically unavoidable. It’s true though, you can’t prevent change from happening.

What you do because of it: now that’s something in your control.

I guess I owe most of my successful change to my mindset. Always just thinking that there is something good that will come out of this. As much as I hate to admit it, most of the change has not really been my ideal pathway or what I thought I would be doing, but you know its a start. Everybody has got to start somewhere right? I guess i’m still starting. Who knows where all of this will take me. I keep saying, “let’s see where it takes me,” but when do I know I have arrived.

I guess that’s one of the mysteries of life… How do we know where something is supposed to take us when we really don’t know. . . where. . it’s . . supposed to take us.

Guess we’re just going to have to keep going for the ride.
