This seems to be the trend across the entire job market. The need for better credentials, a higher degree, an internship at Google or Twitter.

It’s getting more competitive but it’s also easier to be competitive. I feel everything will eventually balance out in the end. Seed funding will be available as needed because nobody will want to miss those opportunities. And if it’s not available, it’s probably for a reason.
