You’re at home, or in isolation, and need to keep yourself entertained and productive. Here are 8 things that are sure to get you out of that damaging slump.

For some, this lock down period has given us more additional free time than we’ve at any point had. Time which we never figured we would have.

This leisure time presents us with chances to do things which we’ve for a long while been itching to do. I think it bodes well for us to be beneficial with this time and do things that are important to us.

1: Complete a Daily Puzzle

Puzzles are a great way to spend the extra time you have been so graciously gifted. Puzzles have a range of benefits, spanning from improved memory to increased IQ. There are also tons of puzzles to choose from, including Sudoku, word search or crossword. So try to complete a puzzle everyday or rather set a time everyday which you promise to dedicate to puzzles.

2: Get to that Book you’ve been Putting Off

Quarantine is the perfect time to catch up on any books that are simply taking up space on your bookshelf. You have so much extra time, so why not get enthralled in an encapsulating murder mystery or a romance to swoon for. Aim to read for at least 20 minutes a day, and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you can finish a book.
