I’d love to see overtime if it would end the ridiculous NFL overtime rules (I know that wouldn’t happen, I’m just bitter).
I’m a bitter Packers fan who saw two consecutive postseasons end with an overtime in which Rodgers never got to touch the football. And while I’ll fully admit that this clouds my judgment, I think it’s fair to say that the NFL has the worst overtime rules of any professional or collegiate sport in the United States.
Now that my rant is over, I’ll agree with the premise here. Overtime would be a lot of fun, and would definitely boost ratings. We saw this in game 7 of the World Series — how great was that finish?
Great read! Recommended.
