New Skilled Nursing Center in Henderson Slated for Construction
Thomas Jurbala is a longtime Las Vegas entrepreneur who holds executive responsibilities with the Calida Group, where he manages a full range of senior living investments. In October 2016, Thomas Jurbala’s firm announced its plan to expand its Las Vegas Valley portfolio through the creation of a skilled-nursing center spanning 5,000 square feet.
Encompassing 121 beds, the two-story Henderson facility is expected to reach completion by summer 2017. The Southern California firm Generations Healthcare has already arranged to lease and operate the center. With a location near Coronado Center Drive on West Horizon Ridge Parkway, it offers excellent patient accessibility.
The nursing center represents just one of a number of recent Calida Group development projects, including the creation of the Constellation, a high-end community set on 4.5 acres. Current plans involve the creation of half a dozen local senior rehabilitation facilities that complement 20 existing locations in California. The projects reflect sustained high demand in the senior living arena.
