General:

In prompts, avoid sarcasm, irony, long sentences, convoluted sentences, mixed languages, synonyms, slang, dialect, juvenile words, negatives (e.g., don’t write “not dark,” better write “light”), or the like. Always express yourself as clearly as possible, as if you were talking to a 3-year-old child.

Format cleanly. The structure of your prompt can make a huge difference. Even one blank line can completely change the result. Structure with headings e.g. “This is what I have:*line break*”, “This is what I want: *line break*”, “This is how I want it:*line break*”.

For longer prompts it also makes sense to create complete sections. These are usually introduced with a double colon e.g. Section1:: , section2::

Write code in triple quotes e.g.:
``<body><div>LoremIpsum</div></body>```

Since GPT tends to a certain “randomness” and “forgetfulness” it is usually better to go into the dialog than to write a long prompt. Which for templates requires so called layers. How layers work exactly you can read here: LinkComingSoon
