Paradisa Palm Villa
Most kids play with legos or blocks or some sort or another. My favorite was a house in pink and grey blocks with sea foam green grass and a pool. The lego set had it’s square foundation which included a stone driveway, a pool, and and elevated area for the structure. The set contained pieces which allowed you to build a two story non-functional house with glass walls, pink staircases and light grey detailing. You could also build a diving board, umbrella with side table, palm tree, a variety of flowers and a black convertible. There were four people included: a mustached man wearing all black, a bowtie, and white sleeves (the waiter), two women without pants: the two lines of color on their legs I assumed was supposed to signify a bathing suit, and a man with sunglasses in a black shirt and white pants. Champagne glasses and a parrot were also provided. I’d like to think that coming from the early 1990’s this lego set was called “drug dealer’s modern cabana”. The man with the sunglasses looks a little too suave, and I’m now suspicious of this house without any functional rooms. The upstairs room is all glass and has a table for two. The downstairs room only has a bar. Lego called this set “Poolside Paradise” or “Paradisa Palm Villa.” This description is to the provided instructions. At the time I didn’t question the life of luxury lego was depicting. I probably just sometimes let the women wear pants.
