Sounds familiar to me. A friend of mine had similar issues with Audi warranty. But I think that’s a point where all manufacturers act like this.

What normally works in Germany is a 75% thing. Where the manufacturer covers 50% and the local dealer another 25%. Perhaps you should give it a try, the local dealer should be more interested in keeping it’s customers than Audi itself.
