All About Tiara White
Hello, I am Tiara White. A student at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California. This wasn’t always my home though.
I was born in California but was raised in Richmond, Virginia. While Virigina is a drastic change in every way possible, from the seasons to the conservative people, it is still a place I refer to as home.
In July of 2018, I decided Virginia was not the place for me, as I became complacent and too comfortable with my environment.
I consider myself an outgoing person who loves to meet new people. I also love taking risks.
The biggest risk I’ve taken was moving my whole life, and everything I’ve ever known, to the Golden State of California.
So, now that brings me to present day. Co-Social Media editor for Talon Marks at Cerritos college.
I hope to transfer to Cal State Fullerton and continue majoring in Journalism, mainly focusing on Broadcast Journalism. My highest goal, as of right now, is to become an entertainment reporter, hosting a day-time or night-time show on E! entertainment.
My future blog posts will be all about the online communities that is Internet Culture. In today’s world, about 3 billion people have at least one social media profile.
Internet culture is hard to get away from, in almost any conversation you partake in, something will be brought up that forces you to have some knowledge of what is happening on the web.
I’ll be discussing everything from the top meme’s, cancel culture, and trolls.
