Social Data Suggests Early iPhone 7 Orders Up Compared to 6s, Down Compared to iPhone 6

During the first two weeks of their respective launches (as measured by first available date of pre-order), normalized organic mentions* related to pre-orders and orders of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus across Twitter were 89% higher than that of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and 37% lower than that of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Mention frequency, while not directly correlative to sales, may serve as a directional indicator of sales.
