Airline bashing, America’s new favorite pastime

If airlines want our patience, they might try earning some first.

But the truth is, it really sucks to fly, and it’s often pretty expensive. If I didn’t live in AK, I’d take the train not only out of principle, but because it’s genuinely a better way to travel.

Safetly is critical, but comfort is what people actually remember about any given experience in travel.

Perhaps ironically, this situation is exactly when I’d extend credit to an airline: a power loss is no one’s fault. It’s a lot harder to extend any kind of credit when we’re charged for checking bags or more seats will be crammed into a 757.
