Just for the record, shyness and introversion are separated by completely different definitions. Shyness is a type of inner feeling, one that can cause much anxiety or nervousness at the possibility of dealing with other people. Introversion by contrast, is considered a personality trait. Introverts generally enjoy talking with others and can even do so in large crowds, but tend to prefer interpersonal conversations. They generally have a few close friends, are great listeners, give insightful advice and are extremely empathetic.
