Five questions for Angela Eagle

Hi Paul,
- If an apology has already been issued, what good is a second one?
And what good is the first one given it came from a man who urged Ba’athist Fascists to ‘resist by any means necessary’, which proved to include the execution of aid workers, trades unionists and others.
What good is it when it comes from a person whose opposition to the war didn’t stem from having a better proposition to put forward to alleviate the suffering of Iraqis and others under Saddam Hussein, but purely from an ideological viewpoint, as if inaction was necessarily the morally superior choice? - Ad-hominem. What’s the significance of The Sun being ‘reviled’ on Merseyside? What’s the significance of it being right wing? If there’s a problem with what Gloria De Piero argued for, argue that argument, not the place that you saw it.
- What does this matter? It’s entirely possible to be entirely committed to the NHS and support of the doctors without standing on a picket line with them.
- No they don’t, they’re silent on this point. Stop lying.
- Why should Corbyn the notorious rebel against the whip expect others to not rebel and vote with their conscience rather than with the whip.
What a load of twaddle.
