I get where you’re coming from, but the dictator comparison seems a bit overstated. Isn’t stock price and corporate performance the primary influence on CEO behavior? After all, if users or investors flee, he’d either change his behavior, change ownership, or ride it to the ground. Unlike a dictator, Travis only has wealth and power because investors and the public choose to give it to him, and they can take it away almost effortlessly at any time.
