While I agree with the heart of your message, I would suggest that America’s institutions first betrayed the American public, and the reason that people have been deconstructing them is because they have proven untrustworthy.

When the institutions serve us, we must support them. When the institutions start to believe that we serve them, we must deconstruct them and replace them with servants. The Steward is not the King, and if the Steward mistakes himself for King, he must be removed.
