One key difference in this election
Here is one of the key differences in this election:
- Debbie Wasserman Schultz, our opponent, raises money by inviting corporate PACs to contribute $5,000 at fundraisers in Key West.
- Tim Canova rejects the notion that campaigns have to be funded by millionaires and billionaires — that’s why ours has an average contribution of just $20.
Tim doesn’t go around asking wealthy elites for money, because he believes you can’t fix a corrupt political system if you take money from the ones who benefit from the system. That’s why our campaign is funded by over 20,000 individual contributions. Those donations — made by teachers, musicians, and nurses — are the reason our campaign has the resources to challenge a rigged political system.
When we post these messages, know that it is because your donations are the difference in this election. Without your help, we don’t stand a chance against Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s giant corporate warchest. We can overcome the political establishment and fix our inherently unfair political and economic systems that exist in this country, but only if we do it together.
Thank you for your support,
Team Canova
