General Longstreet is a confusing figure, because he saw the coming trench warfare and was much smarter then Lee.

The problem is that he still was a traitor, and if he had been in charge it’s likely the South would’ve won the war.

So… Depending on his views of slavery, the Pentagon can keep their statues for his vision, but the rest of them belong in museums not parks.

Most of the statues were built after 1900, mostly in Jim Crow states.

I want to believe you about this woman, but I provided information from some reasonably solid sources and you providing proof that consists of what looks like a blog post.
