MVP Play-testers: Bug Reporting

In preparation for the release of our MVP on June 30th, we wanted to give you an idea of what to expect, how you can participate — and be rewarded for! — the bug reporting process.

The MVP is a chance for players to test out a small portion of what Tiny Colony has to offer and, if you choose, take on the role of a Bug Bounty Hunter.

Tiny Colony will be relying on the User Driven Development concept we outlined previously, and emphasizing play-testing throughout our MVP, alpha and beta rollouts.

During the MVP stage of development, bugs can be very common. Inviting play-testers to identify bugs and test the core functionality of the game will greatly improve the final product. This is when we want you — our incredible community — to search for and report issues you might come across.

Rewards

Users who report bugs will earn the Discord role of Bug Bounty Hunter! This is exclusive to play-testers.

This Discord role will be your ticket into a draw to win a Legendary Character NFT! Raffle date is TBA.

How do I report bugs?

If you have received an MVP access code, you will also have a “play-tester” role in our Discord.

Navigate to the Game Info section and go to the bug-reporting channel. This will only be available for those with with the “play-tester” role.

You will find a Google Form. Follow the instructions to the best of your ability, report any bugs, enter your Discord ID, and you’ll receive the “Bug Bounty Hunter” role within 48 hours. Congrats! You’re entered into the raffle!
