4 Alcoholic “Bomb” Shots you MUST try!

Beer before liquor, never sicker — Liquor before beer, you’re in the clear.

Everyone lives by this — if you’re like most — so do you! The bad news? If this is in fact true, these drinks are definitely not a good idea.

But, you’re a risk taker, right? Although these drinks might leave you with hangover, they are definitely a good time.

The idea is simple: drop a shot into beer — then drink the beer.

Needed? Nope. A good time. Absolutely!

Let’s get the party started…

1. THE IRISH CAR BOMB

This was invented in 1979 in Connecticut. The name came from the car bombings that took place in Ireland. This is a very popular drink here in the US, but virtually unheard of in Ireland.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 shot Irish Whiskey
- 1/2 shot Irish cream
- 1 pint Irish Stout

Directions:
The whiskey is floated on top of the Irish cream in a shot glass. Drop the shot glass in the the stout and bombs away! Chug, enjoy, and repeat.

2. SAKE BOMB

How this was invented isn’t known. What is known, is the Japanese did not invent the Sake Bomb. But, if you’ve ever eaten sushi or went karaoking, then you’ve most likely had you experience with the sake bomb. This is definitely more fun when the entire table does this together.

Ingredients:
- 1 shot sake
- 1 pint beer

Directions:
Place two chopsticks parallel to each other on top of the pint of beer. Place the shot glass on top of the two chopsticks. Then, as a group, everyone yells,

“Ichi…ni…san…sake bomb!”

Everyone then bangs on the table until the shot falls into the glass. As soon as it drops, drink away!

3. SKITTLES BOMB

Yup, you guessed it, the name comes from your favorite candy. Known in France as “Retreau” (pronounced “retro”). This is your upgrade to your vodka soaked gummy bears.

Ingredients:
- 1 shot cointreau
- 1/2 can of red bull

Directions
Fill a high ball glass with red bull, drop the cointreau shot into the highball, and enjoy!

4. CORONA BOMB

Lets add a twist to one of your favorite beers by giving the Corona a little “umph”.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 pint of Corona
- 1 shot Bicardi Limon

Directions:
Fill a highball with Corona and drop the shot in the highball glass. Easy, fun, and delicious :)
