THE POWER OF VISION

God never ceases to surprise us every week and his mercies are new every morning.
Today’s message was brought to us by Pastor Felix Enwenode. He titled this message ‘The Power of Vision’. We discussed the audacious mindset of the woman with the issue of blood. After suffering severe health issues for 12 years, despite all odds against her, she made a move to touch the helm of Jesus’ garment and claim her healing.
She decided to rise up to the challenge, focus on Jesus and be healed. The woman didn’t work with sight or with her present circumstances. She worked with the revelation of Jesus that she had.
What you see in the mind of your spirit is what you see in your life. What you are seeing will affect what you’re saying. Words are an image in your mind. The woman with the issue of blood first saw, she said and then she saw. That is, she saw her miracle in her mind, she said it and then she saw it in the physical.
If you don’t like what you’re seeing in your life, change your image. Your own encounter will give you your own interpretation- you must have your own encounter with God. What you see is not a function of your current reality. What you see is revelational.
If you don’t see yourself well, you’ll allow your situation to overshadow your revelation. This mental picture is an image of your future. Look up (Focus on God) and let God handle things on the ground.
