There is no downside in going the last mile to impress upon people my dedication about the things I care about. What’s the downside? Even if Marvin wasn’t accepted into the program after coming all the way here, the next potential employer or business partner who would hear his story will likely take him much more seriously and jump at the opportunity to work with him simply because he’s a person who takes big leaps for his convictions.
