It has certainly been an interesting season so far for the Dolphins…

And not in a good way.

9 games into the season, it’s time to look back at what we’ve witnessed so far. The ups, the downs, early-season predictions, and how the season will end. This is a complete review of the Miami Dolphins season, as we reach halfway through the year.

Positives

Despite a 2–7 record, it hasn’t been all bad. There are a few things that are silver linings on an overall disappointing season. Let’s start with Jaylen Waddle. Coming into the season, the decision to draft Waddle for a much-needed offensive lineman was definitely questionable. While the decision hasn’t paid off, that is in no part due to Waddle’s performance. Through 9 games so far, he has 56 catches for 496 yards and 3 TDs. His catches rank 6th in the NFL, and he’s already become a go-to guy for QB Tua Tagovailoa.

Speaking of go-to guys, Mike Gesicki has also been great. Gesicki has been really good as of late, after a semi-slow start to the season. So far, he has 44 catches for 529 yards and 2 TDs. With all the injuries the ‘Fins have sustained, they needed him…
