There are generally only 4 weeks in a month.
There are only 12 months in a year.
There are about 35 working years in a lifetime.
For the most part, that’s all you get.
Every time we say “Thank God It’s Friday”, what we are really saying is “Thank God it’s not any of those other days of the week. I've been waiting around for this one.”
You cannot spend your whole life waiting for the end of the week. Days and weeks were invented anyway. The sun is going up on a Saturday just like it’s going up on a Tuesday.
If we live for Friday, what value does that place on the rest of our time? We give it away, in hopes of some shiny bright tomorrow that never seems to get here.
How many of your days have you given away waiting for this one?
