The 5 minute timer is HUGE for me!
One of my main drivers is competition, so whenever I see that clock counting down, I feel the urgency to move.
I pulled this technique from the Pomodoro method at first — (usually 20 minute sessions and then a break), but found any kind of timer works well. Some days I have to have something which gets me moving!
