I recently came across the article linked to below, in which the author had an opportunity to tour the inside of the Transamerica Tower here in San Francisco. While I have been to the top floor of the building several times, I have never been lucky enough to gain access to the tower spaces. I have actually never even stopped to think about what that void must look like. Pretty cool pictures, worth your time.
