Avarielle, what can I say that hasn’t been said before? I think the real disconnect here is that Bernie failed to transition his supporters past primary mode, so y’all are still stuck in the mindset of an intra-party battle against Hillary. But the truth is that Hillary was never the enemy of Bernie’s movement, she was just his rival for the presidential nomination. After all, Bernie’s movement hasn’t “lost” anything. Bernie has ascended to rock star status in a soon-to-be Democrat majority Senate, which is the perfect place for him to continue pulling the country to the left, while Hillary with all her competence, experience, and connections ably handles the day-to-day work of running the government. There’s really nothing for Bernie supporters to be angry about. Democrats are ideally arranged for maximum progress over the next four years.
