I think we agree that closing the income gap is of immediate importance, but we disagree on how best to do it. The traditional Democratic approach of levying taxes on the wealthy to pay for social programs is a perfectly viable solution. On the other hand, Marxism is historically unsuccessful and is ill-suited to a post-industrial economy. So I don’t see why Bernie's loss to Hillary is so upsetting.
