Monroe, Jill Stein can’t win and she can’t lead. She’s not a viable alternative to Hillary, she’s an activist who’s confused about her role. While it’s important work for activists like Dr. Stein to hold elected officials accountable, the job of a politician is to seek compromise to achieve results. That’s work that Dr. Stein is utterly incapable of doing. Similarly, the job of a voter isn’t to protest the system, but to choose the best candidate for office. Jill Stein and her supporters are completely confusing the differences between activists and politicians, voters and protesters. By misleading people into wasting their votes, the Green Party is a threat to the progressive movement it claims to stand for.
