There’s definitely plenty of blame to go around for this easily avoidable catastrophe. Near the top of the list of the blameworthy are Green Party voters who ostensibly care about protecting the planet, but failed to stop the anti-environment GOP agenda even though it was within their power to do so.

And this whole line about Hillary being at fault for not spending time in Wisconsin is offensively stupid. Bernie Sanders campaigned in Wisconsin during October on behalf of Hillary. He’s supposedly very popular with white working-class voters, so he should have made an effective surrogate in a blue-leaning Rust Belt state. Yet a great many Wisconsinites were all too comfortable with a “textbook definition of a racist” on the ballot.
