This analogy blew my mind, especially because it does help explain Millennial support for Bernie that daily mystifies me. When Bernie calls for a “revolution” to fix this country, as a Gen X-er that word sounds to me like the fraudulent swindle of a con man, but Millennials seem to think it’s a reasonable solution. As if a top-to-bottom tear-down of the government is somehow an easier answer than addressing problems within the same framework a dozen generations before them have used successfully.
