What upsets me most about boneheaded posts like this, Mr. Awesome, is that I’d much rather have young progressives like yourself join us under the Democratic umbrella and continue pulling the party left, instead of forcing us to lurch toward the center to pick up votes from moderates. Because that’s all that’s going to happen here if you and your ilk refuse to play ball. If the far left can’t be mobilized on behalf of the Democrats, then the party will double-down on trying to peel off Republican-leaning suburban soccer moms who are disaffected with Trump. At which point you become politically irrelevant, making your complaints about not having a candidate that represents you a self-fulfilling prophesy.
