While I don’t think anyone here has been “vicious”, the purpose of the criticisms leveled against Jill Stein is to promote rational selection of a presidential candidate, and by extension the direction of our country. As Faruk and I have pointed out, Dr. Stein has repeatedly lent credence to bizarre theories that contradict scientific facts. Her willingness to believe in demonstrable fictions calls into question her grasp of reality.

Furthermore, Jill Stein’s entire presidential campaign is woefully misguided. She has zero chance of being elected, the Green Party holds no power in state or federal government to actually achieve anything on a national level, and in actively siphoning off Democratic voters that Bernie brought to the party she only serves as a spoiler helping to tip the election in Trump’s favor.
