Self Driving Cars: Now In Mini Size.

Imagine a cart that followed you down the street automatically as you walked home from the shops, carrying your bags of shopping for you. You could walk to the supermarket with it following behind you, put your shopping bags into it, and it would follow you home, carrying them home for you.

Self driving technology such as ROS, Kinect and powerful portable CPU power is now good and cheap enough to create fully capable self driving cars cheaply.

So that’s what we’re building.

A Raspberry Pi 2, an Arduino, Kinect, RC car, and wheel encoders equals something that can navigate sidewalks itself.
