I loved your article — the second half particularly sounds like my personal “stump speech” for Bernie. :-)

I do want to point out an anomaly that you might not have noticed in this whole narrative. We have all met “bros” and “frat boys” before — but in my experience, all of these people have been right leaning or even hard right in their politics.

I know a lot of socialists, social democrats, and the like. Not one of these could conceivably described as a “bro”. I tried in vain to find any such a person on social media.

And people have a lot of complaints about socialism — but “hotbed of sexism” isn’t usually one of them.

Now, certainly people have been attacked by people claiming to be Bernie bros. I’m not disputing that for a second!

But this is a very hard-fought primary. Is it really beyond the bounds of possibility that some of these Bernie bros are not as they appear to be and are working for another team?
