Ever been to a political rally like that? You don’t get any new information — you get the standard stump speech which you can see any time you like on TV. The reason to go to these is to cheer and jump around to support your candidate, not for reasoned fact-finding.

And you suggest, but don’t actually say, that your father doesn’t support Cruz. Well, does he or doesn’t he? If he does support Cruz, then calling all these people out for saying he does isn’t really accurate…

Ted Cruz is a loathsome character, so I do understand why people are seriously dubious about your father’s attendance at his rally. As a public figure, when you publicly associate with loathsome people, there are going to be serious questions.
