Hi there, and thank you for your patience.

Your comment from a while ago suggested to me that you might not fully grasp the situation (and that's okay if that's the case).

You mentioned that you would support reparations "if" you had the type of money, power, and influence that I "seem" to attribute to you as a white person. But I just want to clarify that my statements about the leverage you have as a white person aren't based on my subjective interpretation.

We have empirical, anecdotal, and statistical evidence showing that our systems inherently favor white people and their group in this country. This is a real phenomenon (even if it doesn't feel that way to you), and to claim otherwise would ignore that tangible evidence.

Despite this, I fully understand where you're coming from in terms of the divide between rich white people and poor white people.

I've seen circumstances where poor white people were left just as unsupported as minorities in some cases, having to rely on government assistance, struggling to afford rent, and being called rude names like "white trailer trash."

However, many poor white people need to realize that some parts of their situation are actually self-induced because they are feeding into this racial division against other poor minority groups, which is then being exploited by the rich white people to keep all of us disenfranchised and impoverished.

To help fix the system and redistribute resources more equitably, you guys as poor white people need to genuinely stop aligning with the rich white elites who are hoarding everything and instead, work with the other poor minorities who want to collaborate with you to get everyone out of this siuation.

It's almost like a divide-and-conquer thing, right? because, although you are also being mistreated by rich white elites—just like poor dark-skinned people are—the slight advantage you have above these minority groups (due to that systemic bias and white privilege) is what is making you complacent with this situation.

It's as if you are okay with being treated this way if it allows you to be just a tiny bit better off than a darker person in a similar situation.

It takes your cooperation with us to address these inequalities, and part of that will also mean letting go of this "billionaire lifestyle" that many of you like to glamorize and recognizing it for what it really is:

A gross and unnecessary hoarding of resources and pure greed.
