Massa The True Decentralized & Scaled Blockchain
Massa is a proof-of-stake blockchain technology for crypto payments and smart contracts innovations which is set for mass adoption.
Current blockchains are limited and can only perform about 5 transactions per second (as in the case of bitcoin). Massa solves this by using a multithreaded block graph allowing nodes to create blocks in parallel and process about 10,000 transactions per second without compromising decentralization and security. With this parallel block structure, Massa becomes the first blockchain technology to solve the trilemma.
Massa Labs develops the first blockchain that is both truly decentralized and scaled. After launching a testnet attracting over 7,000 nodes and raising €5m in a private sale round this summer, the team is now growing to prepare for the mainnet launch expected later in 2022, as well as future challenges.
The Massa Blockclique architecture combines three main ideas that together make scaling possible: The data structure is a multithreaded block DAG where each block references one previous block of each thread, transaction sharding separates transactions into multiple threads based on their input address so that blocks created independently in different threads have compatible transactions by construction, and the consensus rule extends Nakamoto consensus to leverage the parallel creation of blocks. Blockclique is a simple extension of Nakamoto blockchains, where each node receives and verifies all blocks and transactions of all threads. As transactions are distributed into threads but all nodes process them, there is no need for cross-shard communications other than cross-thread parent links in the graph. Transaction sharding guarantees that no double-spend can happen even when blocks are created in parallel. Parallel threads with minimal inter-thread synchronization requirements, and lack of multiple inclusions of the same transactions result in efficient, smooth and predictable network usage, bringing the consensus bitrate close to the capacity of the network. Blockclique is secure against attacks aiming at tampering with transaction history, forking the network or denying service within a broad range of parameters, assuming that the proportion of resources owned by the attacker is below 45%.

First, it solved the blockchain scaling problem with a multithreaded block graph which scales up performances massively.

Autonomous Smart Contracts (ASC)
Most decentralized applications need to be regularly updated to function properly. For instance, lending protocols need to liquidate under-collateralized positions. Current blockchains rely on centralized systems to automate smart-contracts (cloud infrastructure, network of bot operators).
Massa is building smart contracts that can wake up by themselves and execute arbitrary operations autonomously.
Massa’s autonomous smart-contracts reduce the need for bots and human interaction and pushes the boundaries of decentralization.

Massa Ambassadorship program intends to help Massa to extend its outreach and give the opportunity for the community to be part of the adventure together. The intention is for the community to join and bring Massadoption of the blockchain technology to the world, without compromizing on the values such as decentralization.
