From what I’ve heard from my hardcore Ingress fans is the core/engine of Pokemon Go is the Ingress game. Google sold Ingress off and Ingress got the Pokemon deal.

In the fictional world of Ingress, the teams are called Enlightened and Resistance. I joined up with Ingress friends in a public park. It was odd, identifying players, people who I haven’t met, and shout “She must be one of The Resistance! Stop her!” In our currently tense culture, might be nicer chasing imaginary animals.
