There is the also the bizarre conduct of the FBI UBLU. Former FBI agents like Ali Soufan and Mark Rossini never mention that their own agency obstructed the Cole investigation and the search for al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar. The UBLU conduct takes the pre-9/11 conduct out of the realm of CIA vs. FBI. We are no longer talking about poor FBI computer systems and O’Neill vs. Scheuer/Blee conflict. Why would a bunch of FBI agents obstruct an active FBI terrorist investigation and a search for terrorists linked to threats of another attack? Would they risk lives/their careers/jail time because someone like Bikoswky (or Wilshire) told them to? Not a chance. It sure looks like high level FBI officials were in the loop but covered their tracks well. Also the NSA conduct is off the charts bizarre. Hayden’s explanation for 9/11 is that the NSA didn’t have caller ID capability and thus had no idea al-Mihdhar was in the US. This is the level of contempt guys like Hayden have for the public. The media for their part refuses to call out Hayden. I would guess when he goes on his book tour (the book will be out in about 10 days) the media will overlook the fact that he has lied about 9/11 from Day 1 and will go along with his false narrative that post 9/11 desperation called for warrantless surveillance and torture.
I’m glad you mentioned this, because CIA officers’ ongoing claims that all of the games in the lead…
