I agree Ben. I think it’s counter-productive to expect people to become vegan overnight. While I eat a vegan diet, I’m aware that it’s a big step — it has been a journey for me over a number of years. I did give up meat overnight, but fish, dairy and eggs came at later stages. For a lifestyle change to become permanent I think it has to be manageable. As you suggest, reductionism is a good start.
