Chains of the Past

Black Crow it circles waiting to feast.

Searching for more and taking the least

Clever the foe to make it past night

Nothing to lose, more willing to fight

Invisible now and travel the ghost

Searching the waves while making the most.

Hide from the shadow to wonder out loud.

Afraid of the darkness, head heavy and bowed

Opposites lie upon nothing to speak

Scars that grow heavy seem angry and weak

Strength from the mighty to find absolution

Heavy the night and no retrobution.
