Great post, Trish. I used to drive a shuttle van from Colorado Springs to DIA. I heard from several passengers that the airport was built above some kind of top-secret military installation left over from the Cold War, or variations on that theme (UFO research, etc.). More conspiracy theories, I assume, but those were also supposedly tied in with some of the murals.
