“Do you trust that this product will do what it claims it will do?” or “Is there anything here that you don’t trust to do what you need it to do? What makes you doubt that it will?” These questions about trust and function quickly make user preferences clear and therefore, hopefully steer these aesthetic arguments in the right direction.
