Alive as heck
Lately, I’ve been singing in my car to The Pointer Sisters and Aretha, dancing in my kitchen to Florence and the Machine and the Spice Girls, rarely wearing shoes (or bras), and enjoying an intoxicating new sense of empowerment.
Just today, I got off the phone with a new client—an inspiring female business owner—and basically did this.

Her vision is exhilarating, our creative tastes jive, and I’m confident that our project will be both challenging and satisfying.
I’ve been learning from podcasts, and articles, and books, and people—in all different fields. I’ve been running into roadblocks, taking ample time to research and grow, and climbing over them.
I’m also overflowing with dizzying anxiety, but I’ll take it. For the first time in a while, I feel alive as heck.
