Kelly Ayotte is my senator. After Sandyhook I asked her what she’s going to do about gun violence other than issue platitudes. I received a form email in response that was filled with platitudes. She then voted against gun controls. These people are impervious to reason or empathy.

Since New Hampshire is a small state, I know the heads of both the Democratic and Republican parties here. The GOP forces all of its members to sign a loyalty oath. I am not kidding. One part of that oath says they will vote with the party against gun control. It’s actually a separate line item.

Republicans are not going to change, so you have to change from Republicans.
