Moving Away From Your Parents Can Earn You a Higher Salary

Interesting. I actually live in my hometown, after moving away for college and a brief foray on the opposite coast. My parents have never helped me find a job, but I did live with my mom for a year after college. The cost of living here is a lot lower than the nearest major city (Boston), and my salary has always been a bit lower than comparable city salaries. I recently got a big raise/promotion though that makes me feel like I’m winning the low cost of living/salary trade off quandary.
