Yeah — I am sure there are a million stories like this, and I am aware of the crazy rent costs in Boston (I went to BU but bought a house in the ‘burbs 5 years ago), but what really drove it home for me was that my friend rented an apartment in Inman in 2012 with a roommate. The friend moved to California and the roommate moved elsewhere. In 2013 the roommate moved back to the apartment in Inman, which was now $1000 more a month. Insane.
