Does Everything Happen for a Reason? — Troy Cost

My name is Troy and I need a kidney. I’m currently on dialysis at the age of 23. I been on dialysis since January 2016. What a way to bring in the new year right? I feel like everything happens for a reason and it does. People always tell me to write down my thoughts but I never really felt like it, but for some reason today I felt like writing something. I hope my situation will help someone else. When people see me and I tell them my situation they don’t believe it they say things like I would’ve never known you look great! Am I suppose to look sick and be down? Lol no God wouldn’t put me in a situation that I couldn’t make it through. I try to laugh and enjoy life but I need to do more. I let my situation hold me back kinda. I don’t travel as much as I used to, but that needs to change and it will. I only have one life to live and I’m going to live it.
