A Note from our CEO: Launching the Collection
£25,000- £50,000 investment in retail and consumer startups, comprehensive 6-month accelerator programme, outstanding support network of mentors and sponsors, enviable network of the who’s who of the retail and consumer world, and all housed in the heart of London’s retail neighbourhood. Welcome to ‘The Collection’.
Last year we received an overwhelming volume of applications for our retail consumer investment fund. In fact, so much interest that we’ve decided to launch an additional investment model that is set up as a cohort, which we’ve called The Collection. We’re launching this in March 2015.
The Collection is aimed at driven entrepreneurs looking to launch or accelerate their business and who need a total of £25,000 — £50,000 (for 4.5% and 9% equity), or businesses that don’t need the cash but would benefit from our network and support (3% equity).
Entrepreneurs will benefit from a structured six month cohort programme that includes tailored masterclasses with experts in the fields of strategy, design, customer segmentation, marketing, PR, growth hacking, fundraising, finance and HR… all with a retail and consumer angle. Throw into the mix our extensive network of mentors, our enviable black book containing the who’s who of the retail and consumer industry (including most of the major retailers, fashion brands and leading consumer brands), our extensive investor network (for when you raise your next round)…and we think we’ve come up with a model that will create an incredible opportunity for anyone building a retail or consumer startup.
If you are a startup (or have a great idea) that is innovative and disruptive, focuses on any part of the retail or consumer industries, and you’ve got the passion to make a really successful business, then apply to The Collection.
All you need to do is complete a simple application form by Sunday February 22 and if you’re short listed, on March 5 you’ll present at our annual conference, R:evolution, in front of leading retailers, investors and entrepreneurs. Successful startups will enrol on The Collection at the end of March.
