My son is now sixteen.

It was so easy to write this story from my high horse. I’m at work and my son is not actively defying me. In the moment, it’s incredibly difficult to remind myself, “Calm down. His brain is not yours. It’s small and dumb right now and you need to teach it instead of yell at it.”
